ABSTRACT

The appropriate teaching methods in accordance to students' need are accomplishment's factor of learning purpose. In that case, teachers are demanded to be more creative within conveying learning method, so the students can be active and won't be bored. The students have various kinds of talents, so the teachers are responsible to develop it maximally. Therefore, the teacher should have new paradigm that appreciates the humanity aspect of students. During teaching activity, teacher should place their selves as facilitator who will make them easy to improve their potency. Thus, student can be active subject and fell enjoy the satisfying learning process, either inside or outside the class.

ABSTRACT

Degree of social and parents participation is one of variables which could support the quality of school way of work in social service aspect. Community involvement held by Indonesian school has been more emphasized in socialization aspect, both advertisement publishing and financial problem. Degree of social and parents' involvement in Muhammadiyah schools was included into medium category. Therefore, the quality of school, society and parents relation must be increased.

ABSTRACT

The history of establishment and development of Muhammadiyah educational institution, beside to produce educated elites who are able to be social figure and able to compete western education (Dutch), it is also intended to empower poverty. It is a pity, the rapid development of Muhammadiyah education isn't balanced by professional management. The organizational management tends to be traditional; it couldn't accommodate meaningful penetration for the sake Muhammadiyah's interest. Its fact influenced toward shifting of orientation to fulfill pragmatic and short term needs. Therefore, the leading is needed to avoid Muhammadiyah education from splitting away its idealism and the history of caring poverty.
